JB is nothing short of amazing
I saw the show at Key Arena in Seattle. Even at $120 a piece, my seats were terrible, so you can imagine the cost to be closer.
CONS:
1. 45 minutes late to the show because there was NO opening band. It should have been mentioned on the ticket.
2. Thanks, Key Arena, for the awful seats. I might as well have brought binoculars.
3. It was tedious to see aging groupies trying to get on the video monitors at the front of the stage. People over 50 looked silly, especially the women.
4. The tickets were overly expensive for the lousy view.
5. I was surrounded by 9 people who were each at least 300+ lbs overweight. They kept going to the bathroom, making me stand up and down throughout the entire concert.
PROS:
1. Buena Vista Social Club - Musical's voice is amazing. They have maintained their style and sound.
2. I immediately felt like buying a one-way ticket to the Caribbean.
3. Buena Vista Social Club - Musical had a huge Landshark Beer bar set up. I wish we had known that.
4. They performed an almost 40-minute encore, so don't plan on leaving early. We finally left at 11:00 pm.
